El Pitazo finds itself in front of a new attempt to impede the right to freedom of expression and information by unknown factors
From Monday, June 17th, users and journalists of El Pitazo report difficulties to enter elpitazo.net, especially those who are customers of the operating companies Movistar, Digitel and Intercable, and in different parts of the country.
The technical team of El Pitazo performs the necessary technical evaluations to know the origin of the difficulties in accessing the page, for that reason, we currently cannot report exactly the cause.
However, we must remember that since September 2017, El Pitazo’s three domains have been blocked: elpitazo.com, elpitazo.info and pitazo.ml, censorship actions to which we have always had an answer.
From El Pitazo we want to ratify that nothing will prevent us from continuing to fulfill our duty to inform. Faced with attacks driven by unknown interests El Pitazo and its journalists reiterate the inalienable and tenacious commitment to protect freedom of expression, the right to truthful, free, timely and uncensored information that is enshrined in Article 58 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
We invite our users to keep abreast of the information that is disseminated through our social networks and communication platforms of El Pitazo. For this we have social networks Facebook, Twitter and Instagram where you can find us as @elpitazotv and Youtube; our channels on Whatsapp and Telegram; digital radio, the transmission of sound content and activity directly in communities such as the formation of info-citizens and news projections in neighborhoods.
